Every year some of the most famous celebrities in Ireland and from around the world are invited to UCD to speak at various events by student societies and by UCD. CTN has exclusive access to these celebrities to film and interview them while in UCD.

Ur College Degree is the brand new drama written and directed by James Byrne. It stars Bairbre Munnis and Eamon McCarron as Eva and Jay. Two young freshers experiencing college for the first time and developing their own survival guide as they go. Along the way they meet the attention grabbers, go to the right events, experience college life and maybe even learn a thing or two.

We're students too, but some of us have been in UCD for far too long! So every now and again we get asked questions like 'Where is Theatre L' or 'There's 3 lakes in UCD?' And freshers living away from home for the first time, generally have no idea how to cook! So CTN has produced some student guide programming.

You've read that right. A genuine magician, and CTN has our hands on him. Fellow student to us all, you can see Jay perform all across Dublin city. Check out these tricks and prepare to believe! Beware, the DJ Woo Kid video is not for the faint hearted!

The UCD Student Union, located in the Student Centre, provides many services around college every year for all the students of UCD. Watch these short introductions to the 5 elected sabbatical officers who work on your behalf. The President represents your views to the college authorities. The Entertainments officer runs student events. The Welfare officer is there to help if you have any problems, be they personal, financial or otherwise. The Education officer will help with any academic issues.

Don't be afraid to talk to any of them, they work for you!

CTN is Ireland's only student run television station. It is a UCD student society and open to all. So get involved and be part of something really unique.
